I’m a modern furniture artist in Portland, Oregon. I build every piece myself in my home studio. I specialize in modern Scandinavian design using exclusively baltic birch plywood. I’m currently using baltic birch plywood that comes prefinished with a baked on acrylic gloss. On the cut edges I apply a non-toxic linseed oil and beeswax finish. View what’s available in the shop.
It’s Autumn in the shop, and I’m working on producing some new pieces. I’ll be putting up some prototype furniture on the shop page as well as selling the current catalog units: Hex, Super Slot, and Perfora.

Introduction
Get to know who’s building your furniture. This is short format version of a film put together by my friend Keith of Hyperion Creation. This was filmed coincidently on the weekend before I finally took this business full time. You’ll see my old shop back in the county, before I moved to Portland, OR. I show parts of my chair build process and walk around the house and property. Currently I’m the sole builder and I do every part of the process myself. I’m proud of the pieces that I make and I hope you enjoy the film. If you’d like to watch the long version you can find it on my about page here.
